NEW YORK, March 4 (Reuters) - The euro briefly slippedversus the dollar on Thursday after European Central BankPresident Jean-Claude Trichet said the bank will keep itsspecial term, one-month liquidity operations, maintaining thesame rate.
This represents an extension rather a withdrawal ofextraordinary measures and could be viewed as just a gradualexit strategy instead of an aggresive one, analysts said.

The euro fell as low as $1.3650 EUR= from $1.3670. It waslast at $1.3668.
